FRESNO, Calif., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Fresno State Wednesday accepted a bid to play in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl at Memphis on Dec. 31.

The 16th-ranked Bulldogs had No. 1 Southern California on the ropes last Saturday night before succumbing, 50-42. The contest will be Fresno State's seventh straight post-season appearance, a school record and currently the longest streak in the Western Athletic Conference.
