PITTSBURGH, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is expected to return to action Monday night against the unbeaten Indianapolis Colts.
Steelers Coach Bill Cowher said Tuesday that Roethlisberger is probable to play in next Monday night's game.
Roethlisberger missed the Steelers' last three games after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear. Charlie Batch started in Roethlisberger's absence for two games, but Batch broke the pinky on his right hand in a game against Cleveland Nov. 13.
Tommy Maddox started last Sunday in a 16-13 overtime loss at Baltimore.
Roethlisberger has completed 79-of-130 passes for 1,183 yards with 11 touchdowns and only two interceptions this season. He is 18-1 as a starter in his NFL career, throwing for 3,804 yards with 28 touchdowns and just 13 interceptions.
