COL BKB: Illinois 93, Texas Soun 59

CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Dee Brown scored 14 points to lead a balanced attack Tuesday as 14th-ranked Illinois beat Texas Southern, 93-59, in the South Padre Island Invitational.

James Augustine added 13 points and six rebounds for the Illini (3-0), who won their 24th straight game at home, the fourth longest active home winning streak.

Sean Walker led all scorers with 20 points for Texas Southern (1-2). Ike Count, with 11 points, was the only other Tiger in double figures.

Illinois dominated the game from the start, leading 46-30 at halftime.
