CINCINNATI, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns Sunday as the Indianapolis Colts out-lasted the Cincinnati Bengals, 45-37.
Manning completed 24-of-40 passes with one interception to help the Colts improve to a spotless 10-0. Dallas Clark had a 125 receiving yards and a touchdown on six catches; Reggie Wayne made five receptions for 117 yards and one score; and Edgerrin James, who scored twice, gained 89 yards on 24 carries.
The Colts are the first NFL team since the 1998 Denver Broncos to win their first 10 games.
Carson Palmer went 25-of-38 for 335 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Chad Johnson had 189 yards and one score on eight receptions; Rudi Johnson gained 76 yards on 16 carries and ran for two touchdowns; and Chris Perry added 82 yards on eight carries. He also made four catches for 41 yards for the Bengals (7-3), who totaled 492 yards.
