
DENVER, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Mike Anderson ran for 113 yards and three touchdowns Sunday as the Denver Broncos blanked the New York Jets, 27-0.
Jake Plummer went 18-of-26 for 225 yards. Ashley Lelie made four receptions for 81 yards, and the Broncos defense forced five turnovers while limiting the Jets to 195 total yards.
Denver (8-2), which has won three straight, maintains a two-game lead over San Diego in the AFC West.
In one of the Jets' worst efforts of the season, Vinny Testaverde went 15-of-25 for 152 yards, two interceptions and three fumbles; Justin McCareins was the team's leading rusher with eight yards on one attempt; and Curtis Martin was limited to only seven yards on four attempts.
Wide receiver Laveranues Coles made six receptions for 62 yards while McCareins added five catches for 73 yards as the Jets sank to 2-8 with their fifth straight loss.
