NBA: Dallas 83, Denver 80

DALLAS, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 35 points and had seven rebounds Tuesday night as the Dallas Mavericks posted an 83-80 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Marquis Daniels added 17 points off the bench and DeSagana Diop had a career-high 16 rebounds for the Mavericks, who won their third straight.

Carmelo Anthony led Denver with 24 points and Andre Miller chipped in 17 points and five assists for the Nuggets, who have yet to win a game on the road this season in four tries.

Marcus Camby scored 11 points and had nine rebounds in the loss.

Down 68-54 with 2:22 left in the third period, Dallas went on a 19-4 run to take a 73-72 lead. Nowitzki had 13 of Dallas' points during the spurt.
