NFL: Pittsburgh 34, Cleveland 21

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Hines Ward had eight catches for 124 yards and a touchdown Sunday night as Pittsburgh pounded the Cleveland Browns, 34-21.

In the contest, Ward became the Steelers' all-time leader in receptions, surpassing John Stallworth's mark of 538 catches.

Charlie Batch, who broke his right hand just before halftime and did not return, was 13-of-19 passing for 150 yards, no touchdowns or interceptions. He did have a rushing touchdown. Tommy Maddox, who replaced Batch, went 4-of-7 for 22 yards, Antwaan Randle El threw a scoring pass to Ward, and Verron Haynes and Jerome Bettis each added rushing touchdowns for the Steelers (7-2), who have won four in a row.

Trent Dilfer was 17-of-34 for 253 yards, one touchdown and one interception, Reuben Droughns rushed 17 times for 56 yards and a score, and Antonio Bryant had five receptions for 82 yards and a score for Cleveland (3-6).
