NFL: Denver 31, Oakland 17

OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Jake Plummer threw for 205 yards and one touchdown Sunday as the Denver Broncos topped Oakland, 31-17.

Plummer went 16-of-22; Mike Anderson had 17 carries for 65 yards and one touchdown; Ashley Lelie had three receptions for 76 yards; and Rod Smith had five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown for the Broncos (7-2), who have won two in a row and seven of their last eight games to gain a comfortable lead at the top of the AFC West over San Diego.

Kerry Collins was 26-of-50 for 310 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, and Randy Moss caught six passes for 87 yards and a touchdown -- but LaMont Jordan had only 48 rushing yards on 14 carries and Doug Gabriel added a touchdown catch for the Raiders (3-6), who have lost two straight.
