PHOENIX, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Kyle Busch won Sunday's Checker Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway to get his second victory of the season and second of his Nextel Cup career.

His No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet took the checkered flag 0.609 seconds ahead of runner-up Greg Biffle -- who was followed by Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and Bobby Labonte.

Carl Edwards (sixth), Jimmie Johnson (seventh), Robby Gordon (eighth), Dale Jarrett (ninth) and Travis Kvapil rounded out the top 10.

Stewart's fourth place finish gives him a 52-point lead over Johnson (6,255-6,217) going into the NASCAR's season-ending race and the end of the "Chase for the Nextel Cup" next Sunday at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
