COL FB: Miami 47, Wake Forest 17

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Kyle Wright passed for 319 yards and five touchdowns Saturday as fourth-ranked Miami overwhelmed Wake Forest, 47-17.

Wright's scoring pass total tied a school record.

Charlie Jones -- in for leading-rusher Tyrone Moss, who is out for the rest of the year after suffering a torn knee ligament last week against Virginia Tech -- added 90 yards on 16 attempts and two touchdowns. Ryan Moore made four receptions for 87 yards and one touchdown, and Sinorice Moss added a 64-yard scoring catch.

Cory Randolph was 8-of-16 passing for 117 yards and two interceptions; Chris Davis had four receptions for 108 yards and a score; and Chris Barclay carried the ball 27 times for 105 yards for the Demon Deacons (4-7, 3-5 ACC), who ended their season with a two-game losing streak.

Miami had held its past five opponents under 200 yards of total offense until Wake Forest gained 369 total yards.
