Dechy makes the semifinals at Quebec City

QUEBEC CITY, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Nathalie Dechy beat Stephanie Dubois 2-6, 6-0, 6-0, Friday night in the quarterfinals at the Bell Challenge in Quebec City.

In Saturday's semifinals, Dechy will face Amy Frazier, who ousted Henrieta Nagyova, 6-4, 6-1.

Marion Bartoli was an easy 6-0, 6-4 winner over Shenay Perry. Sofia Arvidsson, the eighth seed, topped Elena Vesnina 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, and will next meet Bartoli in the semis.

The week's winner will claim $27,000.
