DENVER, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Antti Laaksonen scored two goals Thursday night as the Colorado Avalanche beat Anaheim, 4-3.
Joe Sakic and Rob Blake also scored and David Aebischer made 20 saves for Colorado (7-4-1), which has won four straight games.

Joffrey Lupul scored twice, including one with 56 seconds remaining in regulation, Petr Sykora also scored a goal while goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov made 28 stops for the Mighty Ducks (7-6-1), who had a four-game winning streak broken.
Colorado won the shots on goal battle by a wide 32-23 margin, but the Avalanche were limited to 0-for-7 on the power play, where Anaheim went 1-for-3.
