COL FB: Texas 47, Oklahoma State 28

STILLWATER, Okla., Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Vincent Young accounted for 506 yards of total offense and four touchdowns Saturday night as second-ranked Texas overcame Oklahoma State, 47-28.

Young, a leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy, ran for career-high 267 yards and two scores and was 15-of-30 passing for 239 yards and two scores for the Longhorns (8-0, 5-0 Big 12), who rallied from a 28-9 deficit to increase their winning streak to 15 games dating back to last season.

The Longhorns, who are the top-ranked team in the BCS, had 606 yards of total offense.

Mike Hamilton rushed for 194 yards and Al Pena went 12-of-27 passing for 152 yards and two touchdowns for Oklahoma State (3-5, 0-5), which has lost five straight.

D'Juan Woods added four receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns for the Cowboys. On homecoming, former Oklahoma State stars Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders were in attendance.
