UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Michael Robinson passed for 213 yards and added 96 rushing yards with one touchdown Saturday as 12th-ranked Penn State beat Purdue, 33-15.

Robinson was 13-of-29 passing with no interceptions, Tony Hunt rushed for 129 yards, and Kevin Kelly kicked four field goals.

The Nittany Lions (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) had 303 yards on the ground in their second straight win. They will earn a surprising conference title and their first BCS berth under Joe Paterno if they beat Wisconsin next week and win at Michigan State in the season finale.

The Purdue quarterback combination of Curtis Painter and Brandon Kirsch was 17-of-38 for 162 yards. Painter ran for 29 yards and a touchdown. Kirsch also ran for a score.

Purdue (2-6, 0-5 Big Ten) has lost six straight games after starting the season with two victories.

The Boilermakers were out-gained, 516-277.
