CHICAGO, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Thomas Jones rushed for 139 yards Sunday to help Chicago beat the Baltimore Ravens, 10-6.
Jones had his largest output of the season on 25 attempts in a huge defensive tussle.
Rookie quarterback Kyle Orton went 15-of-29 for 145 yards and one touchdown, and tight end Desmond Clark made four catches for 50 yards.
The Bears' stout defense limited the Ravens to only 199 total yards. Mammoth defensive tackle Tank Johnson (6-foot-3, 300 pounds) had two of the Bears' four sacks and made five tackles. The Bears remained the NFL's only team this year to not allow a rushing touchdown.
For the Ravens, Anthony Wright was 18-of-32 for 164 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions, Todd Heap caught seven passes for 71 yards, but running back Jamal Lewis -- who suffered an undisclosed injury late in the third quarter -- was limited to only 34 yards on 15 attempts.
Matt Stover kicked two field goals.
