MLS: FC Dallas 0, Colorado 0 (draw)

DENVER, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- FC Dallas and the Colorado Rapids played to a scoreless draw Saturday night at Denver.

It was the opening game of their two-game Western Division Major League Soccer Semifinal Playoff series.

Scott Garlick made four saves for FC Dallas, while the Rapids had the edge on corner kicks, 6-1. FC Dallas is the second seed in the West, despite winning only once in their last six games. Colorado failed to beat FC Dallas in five matches this season (0-2-3).

Game Two is Saturday in Dallas. The series winner will be determined on best combined aggregate score.
