SEATTLE, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Shaun Alexander rushed for four touchdowns Sunday night as Seattle trounced the Houston Texans, 42-10.
Alexander rushed for 141 yards on 22 carries, while quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was 14-of-20 passing for 168 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Maurice Morris added 104 yards on just eight carries as the NFC West-leading Seahawks rose to 4-2 on their second straight win.
Alexander joined San Diego's LaDainian Tomlinson as the only players with at least 10 rushing touchdowns in five straight seasons.
Houston's David Carr was only 19-of-33 for 179 yards and one touchdown. Jabbar Gaffney made 10 receptions for 87 yards, and running back Domanick Davis had just 40 yards on 18 attempts, but had a receiving touchdown for the Texans, who dropped to 0-5, remaining the only club in the NFL without a victory this season.
