NHL: Ottawa 5, Boston 1

OTTAWA, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Five different players scored goals Saturday night as Ottawa beat the Boston Bruins, 5-1.

Brandon Bochenski, Chris Neil, Antoine Vermette, Anton Volchenkov and Bryan Smolinski scored goals, and Dominik Hasek made 34 saves for the unbeaten Senators (4


0).

Dany Heatly and Daniel Alfredsson each extended their point streaks to five games for the Senators. Alfredsson had two assists and Heatley had one.

Pat Leahy scored the lone goal and Andrew Raycroft combined with Hannu Toivonen for 37 saves for Boston, which had its three-game winning streak broken.
