NFL: Cincinnati 31, Tennessee 23

NASHVILLE, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Carson Palmer threw two touchdown passes Sunday as Cincinnati rallied to beat the Tennessee Titans, 31-23.

The Bengals -- who trailed 10-7 at halftime and 20-17 in the fourth quarter -- out-scored the Titans, 24-13, in the second half.

Palmer was 27-of-33 passing with no interceptions. He was sacked once.

Chad Johnson had eight receptions for 135 yards and one score, Rudi Johnson gained 80 yards on 18 carries, and Chris Perry added nine catches for 45 yards and one touchdown, as the Bengals improved to 5-1 after their first loss to Jacksonville last Sunday.

For Tennessee, Steve McNair went 26-of-41 passing for 259 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Chris Brown had 84 rushing yards on 18 attempts and scored twice.

Brandon Jones had five receptions for 82 yards while Drew Bennett had seven catches for 61 yards.

The Titans fell to 2-4.
