COL FB: UCLA 44, Wash. State 41 (OT)

PULLMAN, Wash., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Maurice Drew scored from one-yard out in overtime Saturday as 12th-ranked UCLA beat Washington State, 44-41.

In the victory, the still unbeaten Bruins recovered from a 21-0 second quarter deficit to improve to 6-0 overall (3-0 Pac-10). Drew rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown. He also had three receptions for 78 yards and one score.

Drew Olson was 31-of-43 passing for 338 yards, five touchdowns and one interception, and Marcedes Lewis caught five passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns.

Alex Brink went 19-of-33 for 169 yards and two touchdowns, Jerome Harrison had 34 carries for 260 yards and two touchdowns, while Jason Hill and Michael Bumpus each scored touchdowns for Washington State (3-3, 0-3), which lost at home for the third straight time.
