
NEW YORK, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck Wednesday was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
He was joined on defense by Green Bay cornerback Al Harris. Detroit Lions punt returner R.W. McQuarters was named for Special Teams.
Their AFC counterparts were New England quarterback Tom Brady (offense), New York Jets tackle Dewayne Robertson (defense), and Jacksonville place-kicker Josh Scobee (Special Teams).
Hasselbeck was 27-of-38 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks' 37-31 win over St. Louis.
McQuarters totaled 75 yards on four punt returns, two set up touchdowns in the Lions' 35-17 victory over Baltimore.
Harris had two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, in the Packers' 52-3 rout of New Orleans.
Brady went 22-of-27 for 350 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots' 31-28 win over Atlanta.
Robertson had nine tackles and two sacks against Tampa Bay.
Scobee booted three field goals against Cincinnati.
