DENVER, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Tatum Bell ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns Sunday as Denver held on for a 21-19 win over the Washington Redskins.

Jake Plummer was 10-of-25 passing for 92 yards and one touchdown for the Broncos (4-1), who have won four in a row since a season-opening loss at Miami.

Mike Anderson had 34 yards on 11 carries and Ashley Lelie caught a touchdown pass for the Broncos, who stopped a potential game-tying two-point conversion in the closing minutes.

Mark Brunell attempted a career-high 53 passes for Washington (3-1), completing 30 for 322 yards and two touchdowns. Former Bronco Clinton Portis added 103 yards rushing on 20 carries.

Santana Moss and Chris Cooley combined for 16 catches for 198 yards. Cooley had one touchdown reception.
