LINCOLN, Neb., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Cody Hodges tossed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Joel Filani with 12 seconds left in the game Saturday to give 12th-ranked Texas Tech a 34-31 win over Nebraska.
Filani had 11 catches for 163 yards and three touchdowns and Hodges, who threw one interception, was 34-of-45 for 368 yards and four touchdowns.
Taurean Henderson added 50 yards rushing on 11 carries. He also had six catches for 51 yards and one touchdown as Texas Tech (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) won in Lincoln for the first time in school history.
Zac Taylor was 21-of-35 for 229 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, Cory Ross compiled 119 total yards and both Cody Glenn and Terrence Nunn scored twice for Nebraska (4-1, 1-1 Big 12).
The Cornhuskers will play their first road game of the season next Saturday at Baylor.
