Saints' top receivers still ailing

Oct. 7, 2005 at 4:53 PM   |   Comments

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- New Orleans Saints wide receivers Joe Horn and Az Hakim of New Orleans are listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Green Bay.

Both veteran wide-outs are hobbled by hamstring ailments.

Horn, who missed last Sunday's victory over the Buffalo Bills, has 15 receptions for 220 yards and one touchdown in three games this season. The team indicated that his playing status likely will be a game-time decision.

Hakim does not have a reception in two games, but has averaged 6.5 yards on two punt returns.

Also listed as questionable for the injury-depleted Saints are linebackers James Allen and T.J. Slaughter, guards Kendyl Jacox and Jermane Mayberry, running back Aaron Stecker and defensive back Mel Mitchell.

After last week's win, the Saints are 2-2.
