MLB: Toronto 10, Kansas City 1

TORONTO, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- John-Ford Griffin and Frank Catalanotto combined for seven RBI Friday night as Toronto routed the Kansas City Royals, 10-1.

Corey Koskie added three hits and scored three runs for the Blue Jays, who have won five of seven against Kansas City this season. Winning pitcher Josh Towers rose to 13-12.

Mike Sweeney had two of the Royals' nine hits and Mark Teahen drove in their lone run. Loser Zack Greinke sank to 5-17.

Kansas City has a team record 105 losses for the season.
