MLB: Toronto 7, Boston 5 (2nd game)

BOSTON, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Gregg Zaun hit a two-run homer and scored the go-ahead run in the eighth Tuesday as Toronto rallied for a 7-5 win over Boston and a doubleheader split.

Boston won the opener 3-1 with seven innings from Tim Wakefield, but Curt Schilling couldn't hold a pair of three-run advantages in the second game. The Red Sox could be left tied atop the AL East with the New York Yankees..

The Red Sox host the Yankees for three contests this weekend to conclude the regular season.

The Blue Jays trailed 5-2, but scored twice in the fifth and once more in the seventh on an RBI single by Vernon Wells to even the score before Zaun scored on Adams' sacrifice fly to right field.

Jason Frasor (3-5) earned the victory by striking out a pair of batters over 1 1/3 innings and Miguel Batista retired the final two hitters for his 31st save.
