ATLANTA, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Todd Greene hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning Monday to power the Colorado Rockies to a 6-5 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

Garrett Atkins added three hits and two RBI and Todd Helton, the NL Player of the Week, had two hits and an RBI for Colorado.

Adam LaRoche and Jeff Francoeur both homered for the NL East-leading Braves, who had their three-game winning streak halted. Johnny Estrada had two RBI in the loss -- Atlanta's eighth in 14 games.

The Braves' magic number is currently two.

Colorado was down 5-3 heading to the eighth inning. With one out, Chris Reitsma (3-6) relieved John Foster and Matt Holliday singled. Atkins then moved Holliday to third with a hit and Greene followed with a home run.
