NFL: St. Louis 31, Tennessee 27

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Marc Bulger threw three touchdown passes Sunday as the St. Louis Rams beat Tennessee, 31-27.

Bulger went 21-of-28 passing for 292 yards. Kevin Curtis caught one of his scoring tosses on the first play of the fourth quarter to give the Rams some insurance, and Marshall Faulk rushed for 50 yards and had 31 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Torry Holt added 163 yards receiving and one touchdown for St. Louis, which improved to 2-1.

Steve McNair was 24-of-37 passing for 261 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Titans. Ben Troupe and Brandon Jones caught touchdown passes and Chris Brown added 83 yards on 20 carries for Tennessee, which dropped to 1-2.
