NFL: Cincinnati 37, Minnesota 8

CINCINNATI, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Carson Palmer threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns Sunday to lead the Cincinnati Bengals in a 37-8 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Palmer competed 27 of 40 passes and was intercepted just once as the Bengals (2-0) won their first two games of the season for the first time since 2001.

Chad Johnson had seven receptions for 139 yards and a touchdown and T.J. Houshmandzadeh scored twice for Cincinnati, which scored 27 points off seven Minnesota turnovers.

Minnesota's Daunte Culpepper completed 21-of-37 passes for 236 yards with five interceptions. In two games, Culpepper has been picked off eight times and has turned the ball over a total of 10 times.

Michael Bennett also lost two fumbles for the Vikings, who have allowed 48 points off 12 turnovers this season.
