BALTIMORE, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Luis Matos singled in the winning run in the eighth inning Saturday to give the Baltimore Orioles a 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Matos drove in Bernie Castro, who had a pinch-hit single to start the inning. After stealing second, Castro reached third on a sacrifice bunt by Eric Byrnes. B.J. Surhoff was then intentionally walked before Matos got his hit.
