MLB: Baltimore 5, Toronto 0

BALTIMORE, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Daniel Cabrera came off the disabled list and pitched seven shutout innings Tuesday as the Baltimore Orioles posted a 5-0 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Javy Lopez drove in three runs for Baltimore and Miguel Tejada scored three times.

The Orioles ended a three-game losing streak while Toronto has lost three of its last four games.

Cabrera (9-11) had been sidelined with a strained middle back, an injury he sustained while warming up in the bullpen prior to his last scheduled start on Aug. 17. Tuesday's win was his first since July 14 at Seattle.
