WNBA: Houston 75, Seattle 58

SEATTLE, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Tina Thompson scored 16 points Saturday night as Houston humbled the Seattle Storm, 75-58.

Sheryl Swoopes added a triple double for the Comets. She had 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as Houston took a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference semi-final series.

Houston has won two straight after losing the series opener.

Dominique Canty added 10 points. Betty Lennox led the Storm with 12 points.
