AUBURN, Ala., Sept. 4 (UPI) -- P.J. Daniels rushed for 111 yards and one touchdown Saturday night as Georgia Tech knocked off No. 15 Auburn, 23-14.

Calvin Johnson had one touchdown reception and Travis Bell kicked three field goals for the Yellow Jackets (1-0), who won at Auburn for the first time since 1978. Quarterback Reggie Ball went 17-of-36 passing with one touchdown and one interception.

The Yellow Jackets' defense surrendered 392 yards of total offense, but also forced five turnovers.

Auburn's Brandon Cox, who threw four interceptions, had 342 yards passing and two touchdowns and Ben Obomanu caught six passes for 90 yards and one touchdown. Auburn had its 15-game winning streak snapped.
