PHOENIX, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Ray Durham's 3-run homer sparked San Francisco to a 6-3 decision over Arizona Friday night.

Jason Schmidt (12-6) pitched 6 2/3 innings in winning his ninth straight over Arizona. He allowed three runs on four hits and chalked up a season-high 10 strikeouts.

Omar Vizquel added a two-run double for the Giants who have won three straight and five of six.

Brandon Webb (11-11) was dealt the loss.

Alex Cintron drove in two runs with a double for the Diamondbacks who have dropped three straight.
