NFL: St. Louis 37, Detroit 13

DETROIT, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Steven Jackson rushed 14 times for 108 yards and a touchdown, keying the St. Louis Rams' 37-13 exhibition victory over the Detroit Lions.

Marc Bulger connected on 11-of-14 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for a score, while Isaac Bruce led all receivers with 85 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown score in the second quarter.

Quarterback Joey Harrington struggled for the Lions, hitting 9-of-18 passes for 106 yards. Kevin Jones finished with 38 yards on nine carries.

Jeff Wilkins added a pair of field goals in the third quarter and Madison Hedgecock added an 11-yard touchdown reception, as St. Louis built a 34-6 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Jason Randall scored the lone touchdown for the Lions in the fourth quarter, a 6-yard pass from Dan Orlovsky.
