Shawn Camp (1-4) took the loss after giving up the double to Punto in the extra frame.

Emil Brown drove in the lone run for Kansas City, which suffered its fourth straight loss.

In the 10th, Bartlett drew a one-out walk and advanced to second on a wild pitch by Camp. Michael Ryan was intentionally walked and Punto followed with a double to the gap, scoring both runners.
