Joseph has recorded 43 shutouts in his 15-season career, with a 398-289-90 record and 2.75 goals-against average.

He most recently was on the Detroit Red Wings roster. He finished the 2003-04 season 16-10-3 after an ankle injury and starting goalie controversy limited his playing time.
