WNBA: Houston 75, Seattle 72

HOUSTON, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Sheryl Swoopes score a game-high 23 points Sunday as Houston eased past Seattle, 75-72.

Michelle Snow added 20 points and Tina Thompson had 11 for the Comets, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Lauren Jackson had 18 points and nine rebounds for Seattle, which lost for just the third time in 11 games. Janell Burse added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Storm, which fell to 16-13.

The Comets are just 4-6 in there last 10 games.
