MILWAUKEE, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd Saturday agreed to a multi-year contract.

The team did not release financial figures, but the deal reportedly is worth just over $90 million for six years.

"This is one of the greatest days of my life," Redd, a long-range sharp-shooter, said on the team's Web site. "To be able to stay where my career began is a blessing. I'm so humbled that Milwaukee would even think of me in this manner."

Redd, a 2004 all-star, played in 75 games last season, averaging 23 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest. He shot 35.5 percent from beyond the three-point field goal line.

Redd, 25, has registered 17.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 312 regular-season games.
