Love, Mickelson share lead at Baltusrol

SPRINGFIELD, N.J., Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Phil Mickelson and Davis Love III share the lead at 6-under-par 204 after three rounds of the 87th PGA Championship at Springfield, N.J.

Mickelson, who has held at least a piece of the lead after each of the first three rounds, struggled to a 2-over 72 Saturday at the Baltusrol Golf Club. Love, the 1997 PGA Champion, carded his third straight round of 2-under 68.

His last 54-hole lead in a major was the 1997 PGA at Winged Foot, which was also his only major title.

Thomas Bjorn matched several records on Saturday. He shot a 7-under 63 and vaulted up to third place at 5-under-par 205.

Tournament favorite Tiger Woods, who looked like he was going to make a big jump, shot a 4-under 66 and moved into a tie for 20th at even-par 210.
