MIAMI, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Troy Glaus hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning and Brandon Webb allowed four hits in eight innings Thursday to give Arizona a 3-1 victory over Florida.
Chad Tracy had tied the game by leading off the eighth with a homer off Valerio De Los Santos, and Glaus hit his 25th home run of the season later in the inning off Antonio Alfonseca.
The Diamondbacks won for just the third time in nine contests.
Juan Pierre drove in the lone run for Florida, which lost for the third time in five games.
Webb (10-8) walked one and struck out seven to win his second consecutive decision following five straight defeats.
Brian Moehler allowed six hits over 6 2/3 shutout innings for the Marlins.
