NEW YORK, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- Cleveland Manager Eric Wedge, three Indians players and one Mariners player are being disciplined for incidents in a July 29 game at Seattle's Safeco Field.

Major League Baseball's Vice President of On-Field Operations Bob Watson made the announcement Friday.

Wedge was suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for the actions of Cleveland pitcher Kevin Millwood -- who has been suspended for five games and fined for intentionally throwing at Seattle's Yuniesky Betancourt during the bottom of the seventh inning.

Indians pitcher David Riske has been suspended for four games and fined for intentionally throwing at Seattle's Ichiro Suzuki during the bottom of the ninth. Indians bench coach Robby Thompson has been suspended for one game and fined for Riske's actions.

Mariners pitcher Shigetoshi Hasegawa has been fined an undisclosed amount for intentionally throwing at Cleveland's Grady Sizemore.

Wedge's suspension is scheduled to be served tonight, when the Indians are in Detroit. Thompson's suspension is scheduled to be served Saturday.

Unless appealed, Millwood's and Riske's suspensions are scheduled to begin tonight.
