WNBA: Indiana 78, Seattle 68

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Tamika Catchings canned 24 points Thursday night as the Indiana Fever beat Seattle, 78-68.

Catchings also had six assists and nine rebounds and Natalie Williams contributed 12 points and eight rebounds as Indiana, which never trailed, improved to 15-9 with its five consecutive home-court victory.

Lauren Jackson had 14 points, Suzy Batkovic added 13, and Betty Lennox scored 12 for the Storm, who fell to 14-11.

Seattle's Sue Bird was limited to eight points. She did have six assists.
