MLB: Florida 4, St. Louis 3

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera had four hits, including a two-run homer Thursday night as Florida beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-3.

Alex Gonzalez and Paul Lo Duca added RBI singles and Jeff Conine had two hits and scored two runs for the Marlins, who have won four of their last six road games.

Albert Pujols had two hits and one RBI for St. Louis. He also scored one run.

Winning pitcher A.J. Burnett improved to 9-6 and Todd Jones notched his 22nd save for the Marlins.

Loser Jeff Suppan fell to 10-8.
