FLUSHING, N.Y., Aug. 3 (UPI) -- An 11th inning, bases-loaded walk for Mike Piazza led the New York Mets to a 9-8 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers at Shea Stadium.

David Wright and Mike Cameron both homered for the Mets, who opened a six-game homestand.

For the Brewers, Geoff Jenkins homered twice while Carlos Lee belted his 26th home run, and Russell Branyan added a solo homer in the losing effort.

Braden Looper (4-4) worked both extra innings and gave up two hits, but kept the Brewers off the scoreboard to pick up the win.

Tomo Ohka started for Milwaukee and allowed four runs on eights in 3 2/3 innings. Victor Zambrano took the mound and gave up six runs on seven hits in just 1 1/3 innings.

The game took four hours, 28 minutes to complete.
