AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 31 (UPI) -- Kara Braxton scored a team-high 16 points Sunday to lead Detroit over the Phoenix Mercury, 66-63.
Deanna Nolan added 12 points for the Shock, who overcome a 17-point deficit to win their second in a row.
Anna DeForge had 20 points and Diana Taurasi had 16 points and seven assists for the Mercury, who fell to 7-2 in their last nine games.
