WNBA: Phoenix 69, Minnesota 65 (fri)

PHOENIX, July 30 (UPI) -- Penny Taylor scored 20 points and Diana Taurasi added 17 Friday night to lead Phoenix to a 69-65 win over Minnesota. Taylor sank four foul shots in the final minute to secure the comeback victory.

Maria Stepanova had 14 points for Phoenix, which has won 7 of 8.

Svetlana Abrosimova led the Lynx with 20 points and Amber Jacobs had 10. Minnesota has lost three in a row and 4 of 5. It was a disheartening loss for the Lynx, who led, 39-33, at halftime after leading by as many as 16 points in the first stanza.
