WNBA: Indiana 62, Washington 58

INDIANAPOLIS, Afghanistan, July 30 (UPI) -- Tamika Catchings had 22 points Friday night to lead Indiana over the Washington Mystics, 62-58.

Catchings, who shot only 6-for-15, added 11 rebounds as the Fever rose to 14-8. Katie Williams added 14 and Kelly Miller had 13 as Indiana improved its home record to 10-2.

Tameka Johnson led Washington with 15 points. Delisha Milton added 12 and Alana Beard was held to 10 points for the Mystics, who closed to within 59-58 in the closing seconds.

Washington now is 12-12. The Mystics committed 12 turnovers.
