Vijay Singh leads the Buick Open

GRAND BLANC, Mich., July 29 (UPI) -- Vijay Singh shot 6-under 66 Friday to take the lead through 36 holes at the Buick Open.

After two rounds, Singh is 13-under-par 131.

World No. 1 Tiger Woods fired a course-record-tying 11-under-par 61 Friday to jump into second place at 12-under 132 overall. Craig Barlow (67) moved into third place at 11-under 133.

Fred Funk, Dudley Hart, Zach Johnson and Steve Stricker each shot 6-under 66 and are tied for fourth at 10-under 134. They were joined by Frank Lickliter (67) and Jason Bohn (69).

Chris DiMarco and Robert Allenby each shot 65 to climb to 9-under 135 and are tied for 10th place with Steve Lowery, Jeff Brehaut and first-round leader Nick Watney.

The cut line fell at 4-under-par 140. Seventy-nine players made it. Woody Austin, the 1995 champion, missed it by one stroke.
