MLB: ChiCubs 3, San Francisco 2

CHICAGO, July 25 (UPI) -- Jeromy Burnitz hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth Monday to give the Chicago Cubs a 3-2 victory over the the San Francisco Giants.

Michael Barrett hit a solo homer for the Cubs and Todd Walker went 3-for-5.

Pedro Feliz hit a solo homer for the Giants, who have lost five of their last seven games.

Giants closer Tyler Walker started the ninth after already blowing a save opportunity with two outs in the eighth. Ronny Cedeno had a leadoff single to start the ninth. NL batting leader Derrek Lee drew an intentional walk to load the bases before Burnitz' sac fly.
